THE SCHOOL
Barnes Farm Infant School opened in January 1988. The main building has paired teaching bays providing six class bases. There are also five relocateable classrooms giving a total of ten class bases and an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Suite. There is a hall that is equipped for physical education and also serves as a dining area. The school has its own kitchen. There is a hard play area, a fenced-in play area for the Foundation Stage outside activities, a wildlife area with a pond and the school shares a large playing field with the Junior School.

For admission to Barnes Farm Infant School in the academic year 2011/12 applications must be received by 1 December 2010
At present the school operates an Early Entry Admission Policy – details of admissions dates for the academic year 2010/11 are detailed below :-
Autumn Term
September 2010 Children who are 5 between 01.09.10 – 30.04.11 admitted full time
Children who are 5 between 01.05.11 – 31.08.11 admitted part time (9.00 am – 11.45 am)
Spring Term
January 2011 Children who are 5 between 01.05.11 – 31.08.11 admitted full time
